Manager Arsene Wenger has admitted considering a plan to borrow Thierry Henry from New York Red Bulls. However, the decision whether or not will be determined within seven days.
"That's why I have a Christmas celebration. I have to think about it. The agreement is quite an ideal short term. I have not yet made any statement. Thierry also not be here today," said Wenger.
"Early January is our important dates. We have seven days to make a decision. Then, I will make a decision within the next seven days for the players," he continued.
Wenger does seem to need to employ a new striker in January. Therefore, two striker Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho namely certain to follow the African Cup 2012.
