Neil Warnock was sacked

Queens Park Rangers (QPR) finally sacked manager Neil Warnock, Sunday (01/08/2012), after the last eight matches in the Premier League have never won.

Warnock was appointed as manager of QPR in March 2010. He successfully led the team back to the Premier League for the first time since last 15 years.

At the beginning of this season, QPR actually played well and was at number nine. However, now QPR are in the order of 17 or just one level above the relegation zone. They are just one point ahead of Bolton Wanderers beneath it.

In the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday (01.07.2012), QPR was behind 0-1 by League One (third caste Premier League). Luckily, in the final minutes they were equalized to 1-1 and the match will be repeated.

QPR owner from Malaysia, Tony Fernandes, would not comment about this dismissal.
