The sixth Etape should be held starting from Fiambala in Argentina to Copiapo in Chile along the 247 kilometers.
"Because of bad weather continued in the Andean Cordillera, the Government of Chile was forced to close the border at Paso de San Francisco along the 4.7 kilometer for one night," organizers said.
To ensure the safety and sustainability of the rally racer in the next stage, the organizing committee decided to organize a convoy to the entire vehicle. This rally will continue on Saturday (01.07.2012) for the seven stages along the 573 kilometers. Start beginning of Copiapo.
